Oakington C of E Primary School is a small, rural village school situated north-west of Cambridge. We strive for excellence, looking to enable all children to reach their full potential and make accelerated progress through the highest expectations.
Underpinning our vibrant, nurturing and friendly school are our Christian values which create a positive and inclusive atmosphere where everyone is respected. All children are known as individuals by our fantastic team of staff, who have big ambitions for every single one of our pupils.

What We Do
At Oakington C of E Primary, children learn through an engaging, aspirational and ambitious curriculum that gives powerful knowledge about the world around us, preparing them for their future and nurturing a life-long love of learning. Our curriculum is designed to be: knowledge-rich, valued and specified, and taught to be remembered.
We are proud of our high quality teaching and learning through a supportive environment for all, with staff who go above and beyond and where children are encouraged to celebrate each other’s successes as well as their own.
We strive to create a warm and family feel to our school and highly value the partnerships within our community. We foster collaborative relationships with our parents to help them support their child’s learning, so that working together we help each child to reach their full potential.
