School Lunches

Our school lunches provider is Dolce, who prepare and serve up fantastic quality, quantity and variety in their dinners on site.

We are a family run schools catering provider with a passion for delivering good healthy food with the best customer care.

We offer exciting new menus each term which are cooked fresh from raw ingredients and allow parents and pupils to pre-order from home, on the move or in the classroom.

All orders and payments can be made directly through Dolce's online system, School Grid.

Free School Meals

Some children may be eligible for free school meals and also reduced prices for trips and activities.

Who is entitled to free school meals?

A pupil whose parent/guardian receives one or more of the following benefits is entitled to a free school meal:

  • Income Support (IS)
  • Income Based Job Seekers Allowance ((IB) JSA)
  • Income Related Employment and Support Allowance ((IR) ESA)
  • Child Tax Credit (CTC), provided you do not also receive Working Tax Credit and have an annual income, as assessed by HM Revenue and Customs, that does not exceed £16,190 (Updated April 2010)
  • Guarantee Credit element of State Pension Credit
  • Support under Part 6 of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999

Government Funded Meals

If your child is in Reception, Year 1 or Year 2 and has a school meal, you will not be asked for payment as these are now funded by the Government. However, if you are in receipt of any of the above benefits, please do complete the online form or a form at the school office as this enables the school to claim additional funding.
