REMOTE LEARNING (COVID-19)
During any self-isolation, bubble closures, school closures or national lockdowns, children will be expected to access, engage with and complete learning at home, unless they are vulnerable or children of key workers, who are eligible to attend school on days their parents/carers are unable to look after them. This will be work set by the class teachers and will be in line with what the children are learning in school. The expectations are set out in the Remote Learning Policy at the bottom of this page. Please see the links below to access Remote Learning for your child.

Parent Survey Feedback
We have been so impressed with the resources provided. They provide a real structure to the home learning. The feedback given provided encouragement. The English videos are brilliant! Thank you for everything you are doing!
Overall, I think the remote learning package is excellent and very impressed with how much support my children are getting from their teachers and the daily face to face communication.
Thanks for all the hard work with it all. We love the zoom sessions and the shout-outs are the most motivating aspect for my child. They’ve loved reading some chapter books alongside Miss Childs and their peers too. Having the videos helps a lot for phonics and I’m learning lots too. Having the TAs in the Zoom calls is lovely too. Many thanks to all.
I have been so impressed with it, no improvements needed here!
I think the remote learning has been amazing, we can always get hold of the teacher whenever we need to and our questions are answered normally straight away and if we haven’t managed to make it to a zoom lesson or missed some of it then the teacher has sent a separate video with what we needed on it! Amazing!
The learning has been great and the English sessions in particular have been fantastic - what a lot of effort is put in to engage the children!! Thank you!
It’s absolutely amazing - Mrs CD is going way above and beyond! She is a super teacher and my child is still making progress despite not being in the classroom. We feel the provision is exceptional. Thank you!
Mr Gabe's manner with the children is excellent and he really challenges them. He is very encouraging and gives everyone a chance. The smaller Y5 session has really helped to boost my child's confidence.
The provision is amazing and both Mrs Griffiths and Mrs Merriman-Brown have been accessible, supportive and encouraging. My child's confidence in his work and motivation to get on with it independently has really grown, and they’re encouraging him from a distance to be braver, so we’re really grateful for all that they’re doing - fabulous job in very stressful times!
