Oakington School has enjoyed an active and successful Parent Staff Association, whose aim is to involve all the parents and carers in fundraising events in order to enhance the educational and social environment at the school.
The biggest annual event is the school Christmas Fayre. The PSA also help to run the Christmas Presents Shop, Summer Fayre and the village Bonfire Night and Fireworks along with many more in school events.
The money raised has made a substantial contribution to school life over the years, eg. the provision of interactive whiteboards, new curtains, flexible staging for the hall, funding of school trips, and free to children clubs.

Charity Status
On the 18th May 2022, the PSA voted to become a charity. The structure of the charity has four trustees and three subcommittees. The charity has since been approved: Registered Charity Number 1199128.
